Frequently Asked Questions
Choosing the right service
What's the difference between counselling and your programs?
Counselling is open-ended, 1:1 support to explore what's getting in the way of love — the patterns, wounds, and beliefs shaping how you connect. Programs (like the Relationship Readiness Journey or Dating With Direction) are structured, coaching-based journeys with a clear start, end, and goal. Not sure which fits? A free discovery call will make it clear.
Can I move from counselling into a program later?
Yes. It's common for what you need to shift as you go — someone might start in counselling to process a breakup, then move into a structured program once they're ready to build new skills. We check in regularly and adjust as your needs change.
Is this a replacement for therapy, or for a mental health diagnosis or treatment?
Counselling and programs here are not a replacement for clinical mental health treatment, psychiatric care, or crisis support. If you're managing a diagnosed mental health condition, or need clinical treatment, this work is best done alongside — not instead of — appropriate medical or psychological care. If you're ever in crisis, please see the Crisis Support information below.
How sessions work
Are sessions online or in person?
All sessions are held online, so you can join from wherever you are.
How long is each session, and how often do we meet?
Sessions typically run for 50 minutes. Frequency depends on what we agree on your discovery call — most clients start weekly or fortnightly.
What happens after I book a Free Discovery Call?
It's a relaxed, no-pressure 15-minute conversation about where you're at, what you're looking for, and whether we're a good fit. There's no obligation to continue — if it's a fit, we'll map out a plan together; if not, that's okay too.
What's your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
24 hours' notice is required for rescheduling.
Do you work with clients outside Australia?
Yes is time difference will allow.
What happens if I go quiet for a while?
If we haven't been in touch for 6 weeks, I'll close your file for now and write a closure summary — that's just standard clinical practice, not a loss of anything you've paid for. Any sessions or store credit you have remaining stay exactly as they are. When you're ready, just reach out and we'll reopen your file and pick up where we left off.
Pricing and payment
How much do sessions cost?
A single Counselling Session is $150. The Signature Package (6 sessions, save $90) is $810. [Placeholder — update if Programs and Digital Products pricing should also be summarised here once finalised]
Do you offer packages, or is it pay-as-you-go?
Both. Book a single session with no commitment, or choose the Signature Package (6 sessions) at a lower per-session rate.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. A single session can be split into 2 instalments, and the Signature Package into 4 instalments — just let us know when booking.
What payment methods do you accept?
Card payment is required to secure appointment.
What if it's not the right fit — do you offer refunds?
Sessions and packages are non-refundable. If you decide not to continue, any unused sessions convert to store credit — redeemable toward any Ready For Love Co program or digital product, with no expiry. This is different from a purchased gift card or voucher: it's a discretionary credit we issue when a package isn't fully used, not something bought as a stored-value product. This policy doesn't affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Confidentiality, qualifications, and safety
Is what I share confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between us, in line with standard professional confidentiality practices— except when legally or if there are risks of harm to self or others.
What are your qualifications?
I'm a qualified counsellor and coach with over 20 years of person-centred practice across education, community welfare, and individual support, alongside lived experience of divorce, single parenthood, and rebuilding from scratch. My work is grounded in The WHOLE Method™, a five-phase framework drawing on evidence-based approaches.
